Get started today. The first step is to create a profile on www.healthcareersinsask.ca. Once you’ve completed this you can upload your resume and cover letter and apply directly for positions you’re interested in.
Also, don’t forget to review licensure/certification/education requirements that allow you to practice as an MLT or MLA in this province.
In order to practice as a MLT you’ll need to register and be licensed with the Saskatchewan Society of Medical Lab Technologists. A licensure application form is available on this website. You will also require certification from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS). For further information, please visit the CSMLS website.
In order to practice as a MLA in Saskatchewan, you will need to have successfully completed a one-year accredited MLA training program. Previous medical laboratory and hospital experience is an asset, but not a requirement. We encourage you to consider voluntary certification by the CSMLS. Again, further information can be found on the CSMLS website.
Information for the page is provided to SSMLT by Health Careers in Saskatchewan.
