Non Practicing Members
Non-practicing membership is available to a SSMLT member, who is not currently employed as a medical laboratory technologist (MLT) or who does not meet the requirements for Practice Hours or Continuing Professional Education for a Practicing member

Note: Members may become non-practicing on a temporary basis.
Example: Maternity leave that falls in conjunction with annual membership year.
Non-practicing members on temporary leave must ensure Professional Liability Coverage (PLI) is maintained.
