Elections

Voting for elected members of the Council shall be by Ballot to be made available to members 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting of the Society in each Calendar year. Election will be by a simple majority of the correctly completed Ballots returned.

Term of Office

  1. The term of office for the elected members of the Council shall be for three years with the exception of the President, Past-President and the Vice-President whose term of office shall be for one year. The term of office shall commence as of January 1 following election. In the case of a vacancy on the Council through resignation, the remaining members of the Council shall fill the vacancy by the appointment of a registered practicing member of the Society who shall act until the next Annual Meeting.
  2. Of the six Council members to be elected, two will be elected annually, with consideration given to geographical representation.
  3. No elected officer shall hold the same office for more than two consecutive terms
